Can you check who liked your playlist on Spotify? Nope!

If you create a public playlist on Spotify, any other Spotify user can like or follow it. They don't even have to follow you to like your playlist. Whether your Spotify playlist has one or a thousand likes, you might be wondering who liked it. Although you can see who liked your content on most social media and music apps, is it possible on Spotify? Unfortunately, this is not the case, but you can consult other statistics.

How to Check Your Playlist Stats in Spotify on iPhone

When you create a playlist on Spotify, everyone can like it. Keep in mind that liking a Spotify playlist automatically adds it to your library. So technically, when you like a playlist on Spotify, you follow it too. In fact, the "Like" button is replaced by "Follow" on the Spotify desktop app. Also, you can only like public playlists because private playlists are not accessible to random Spotify users.

If you've created top-notch playlists and find that you've collected a lot of likes, you might be wondering who liked them. The good news is that you can see the number of likes of every public Spotify playlist, whether it's yours or someone else's.

However, you don't have the option to see which individual profiles like a Spotify playlist, even if it's yours. This option was available until 2013 when Spotify removed this feature. Now you can only see the number of likes of your Spotify playlist. Although many users have complained about not being able to see who has liked their playlists, there is no indication that Spotify will bring back this feature, at least not in the near future.

At the moment, you can only see the number of likes of your Spotify playlist. So, in case you were wondering how to view your like count on Spotify on an iPhone, here's what you need to do:

  1. Open Spotify on your iPhone.
  2. Tap "Your Library" in the lower right corner of the menu.
  3. Select the "Playlist" tab at the top of the screen.
  4. Navigate to the playlist in question.

You will see the similar number of the playlist under the title, which is on the left side of the screen. Unfortunately, you can't use this number to find individual users who liked the playlist. For example, if you try to press the same number, nothing will happen.

Although there is no workaround to see who liked your Spotify playlist, some users check their followers to see if there is someone new in the list. However, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Even if you have a new follower, your playlist might have been liked by someone who already follows you, or someone who doesn't follow you at all. This method can be especially useless if your Spotify account has a lot of subscribers. There is simply no accurate way to find out who has liked your Spotify playlists.

But if you still want to try this method, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the "Settings" icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
  3. Switch to the "View Profile" tab under your username.
  4. Tap the “Followers” button under your profile picture.

Here you will be able to see if someone new has followed you, and maybe they liked your playlist. Unfortunately, there's no way to know for sure.

How to Check Your Playlist Stats in Spotify on Android

The same rules apply to the Spotify app on Android devices. You can only see the number of likes of your Spotify playlist, but you cannot see who liked it. Either way, if you want to see how many people liked your playlist on Spotify, here's how:

  1. Launch Spotify on your Android device.
  2. Select the "Your Library" button from the bottom menu.
  3. Proceed to the "Playlists" tab at the top of your screen.
  4. Find the playlist where you want to check the number of likes.
  5. Tap on it.

The number of likes will be right under your profile picture and username in the middle left part of the screen. Just like with the iPhone app, if you press the same number, nothing will happen. Keep in mind that if your Spotify playlist has no taste, you will only see your username and profile picture under the playlist title.

Many third-party apps claim to be able to show you who liked your Spotify playlists. However, these are all scams and installing them is not recommended. There is currently no reliable workaround for this issue.

  2. Sign into your account.
  3. Click "Your Library" in the left sidebar.

It can be difficult to follow

While neither the Spotify mobile, desktop, or web app gives you the ability to specifically see who liked your playlists, you can still see how many people liked each playlist. For now, Spotify users will just have to make do with being able to see their followers and playlist likes.
