Although the "Keep Watching" list on Netflix can be quite useful, it can also be particularly annoying for you, especially when other people are using your profile. Luckily, there are a few easy ways to fix this problem. It's certainly possible to clear your "Continue Watching" list on the Netflix app on iOS and Android devices, but you can also clear the list on your PC.
This article also provides alternatives to the "Continue Monitoring" overflow issue and some related FAQs. Previously, the only option available was to clear titles from your Netflix watch history. However, a past update added the ability to clear your entire 'Keep Watching' list. Let's start!
How to Clear Continuous Watch List from Desktop
- Go to âNetflixâ using a browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc.) on your PC (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.)
- Log in to your account if necessary.
- Select your profile from the list.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right section, then select "Account".
- In the "Profile and parental controls" section, click on the drop-down icon to the right of your profile.
- Look for "Activity View" in the list of options.
- Click the "X" to the right of the title to remove it.
Even though you have to remove each title one at a time, Netflix won't ask you if you're sure you want to remove the title from the viewing activity, which should speed up the whole process. Once you've removed all titles from your viewing activity, your "Continue Watching" list will be empty.
As mentioned earlier, you have a few options at this point. You can either remove a particular show or movie from your "Continue Watching" list, or you can clear the entire list at once.
Keep in mind that you can only remove items from your "Keep Watching" list on desktop, iPhone, or Android. This feature is not available on a Smart TV or other streaming devices
How to Erase Continue Watching from an iPhone
If you want to remove titles from your "Continue Watching" list on Netflix on your iOS device, follow these steps:
- Go to Netflix.
- Choose the right profile and log in.
- Go to the âContinue Watchingâ tab.
- Find the title you want to delete.
- Tap the three dots under the title.
- Choose "Delete from Row" from the context menu.
- Select "Remove" to confirm that you want to remove the title from the "Continue Watching" line.
Another way to remove a title from the "Keep Watching" list is to remove it from your activity page as well. In other words, Netflix will give you the option to "hide" the title of the Viewing Activity page. Here's how to do it on an iOS device:
- Launch the Netflix app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Log in to your Netflix profile.
- Go to the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the app.
- Go to "Account".
- Look for "Activity View" in the list of options.
- Find the title you want to hide.
- Tap the "delete" icon (a circle with a slash) on the right side of the title.
It is more or less that. Now, the title will no longer appear in your "Keep Watching" list. Keep in mind that it may take up to 24 hours for Netflix to hide the title on all your devices.

- Switch to the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner of your screen.
