Pinterest is the perfect app for ideas and inspiration. Through images and videos, one can find all kinds of creativity, covering just about every topic you can think of.
Pinning ideas to your boards or following another "Pinner" gives you quick access to your interests when using your online account. But what if you want to access the content offline?
Fortunately, Pinterest has prepared for this eventuality. You can download images directly from Pinterest to your computer or smartphone. Currently, Pinterest does not support video, story, or carousel pin uploads. Read on to find out how to save images to your device.
How to Download Images from Pinterest to an iPhone
You can upload Pinterest images using the "Upload Image" option. Here's how to do it with your iPhone:
- Launch Pinterest and find the image you want to upload.
- Select the image, then tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner.
- To save the image to your iPhone, choose "Download Image" from the pop-up menu.
- Pinterest will now request permission to save the image to your gallery. Tap "Allow".
- Once the pin is uploaded, a confirmation message will appear at the bottom of your screen.

The steps to download Pinterest images on your Android device are very similar to those on the iPhone:
- Log into your Pinterest account.
- Find and select the image you want to save.
- At the top right, tap the three-dot menu icon.
- Choose "Upload Image".
- Select "Allow" to grant Pinterest access to save the image to your phone's gallery.

Using your computer, you can upload multiple images from Pinterest boards. However, you will need to install the Chrome Extension Image Downloader first and follow these steps:
