There's no way to avoid your leader being captured when you play Lords Mobile long enough. Everyone eventually slips and the enemy player captures your leader, crippling your kingdom. If the worst should happen, how do you recover your Leader?
There are several ways to get your leader back, ranging from paying exorbitant ransoms to attacking the other realm. However, the most effective method is to use a devil's cap. Devil Caps are hard to get, but you can quickly respawn your leader if you have one.
How to Get the Devil's Cap in Lords Mobile
Although it looks easy to use a Devil Cap, getting one is the hardest part of the process. There are two main ways to get a Devil Cap. The easiest way is to spend some money to buy one from the Lords Mobile Store.
Bundles are the quickest and easiest way if you're willing to shell out a few bucks for them. Otherwise, the second method is to go to the Bargain Store. The Bargain Store sells items that are usually in bundles that players pay to buy.
The Devil's Hat Pack contains three items:
- 1 saved
- Five 60-minute accelerations
- Only one devil's cap
You may wonder why it takes so many to acquire one, but the answer is that the Bundle itself only graces the Lords Mobile Store with its presence once every few weeks. You may have the cash ready, but if it's not in the store, you'll have to keep waiting.
In the Bargain Store, the game sells items in exchange for Gems, one of the currencies players can earn for free. A single Devil Cap sells for 8 gems in the Bargain Shop.

The problem with relying on the Bargain Store is that while you can buy it with gems, it rarely spawns. If the Bargain Store appears, you also have a limited time to get the Devil's Caps. That's if they sell them when you're ready to buy.
If you are a free player (FTP) Lord Mobile, it is possible to obtain a devil's cap. You just have to wait for it to appear in the Bargain Store.
Devil Cap Requirements
There are a few requirements you need to meet if you want to use a Devil Cap on your leader to speed up respawn time. Don't use your precious devil cap right after capturing your leader, as it will only be a waste. Requirements are essential to ensure a respawn. These requirements include:
- Your leader is captured.
- Your castle level is 17 and above.
- You have at least 24 hours before your leader is executed.

Some players prefer to wait for the enemy player to execute their leader. But serious players understand that getting their bosses back as soon as possible is essential to maintaining their kingdoms.
Once you use a Devil Cap, you only have to wait 24 hours before your boss respawns and leaves the prison. Compared to the days of waiting for enemies to execute a leader, you might begin to see why using a devil cap is such a good idea.
Should I use my devil cap?
Valuable items like the Devil's Cap are very hard to find. If you manage to find a way to save them, you should do your best to avoid using the poisonous mushroom. Usually it's best to watch your enemy's actions and then plan the next move.

Most players tend to keep killing and capturing lots of leaders. Then they will probably use their time for other in-game business. Using the devil cap now can be a waste when you could get your leader back for free.
What should I do then?
First, you wait as we discussed above. What happens to the player who captured your leader later will inform you of your next move? When it's clear that your leader isn't being executed right away, you have a few choices to choose from.
- Send a message to your captor
Begging for your boss can work, especially if the kidnapper is a nice person. Of course, it's possible you'll encounter a Cold Catcher who doesn't care and wants to execute your leader.
In this case, you can always refrain from using your devil cap. There are other ways to get your leader back without using it.
If you are a solo player, this method might convince you to finally join a guild. Guilds can start Gatherings against other players, and if your Gathering is successful, you get your leader back for free. It would be best if you had your strongest Guild member lead the others in the rally.
Since you just lost your leader, you won't have your troops too, so you better ask the guild members to help you get your leader back.
Many players aren't strong enough to withstand a rally attack unless they're among the best in the game. They wouldn't want to take heavy casualties for their army, as it would set them back tremendously. In this case, many of them may prefer to free your captive leader to stay alive.
If the enemy does not move, do not hesitate to ask your guild to continue the rally. Once the guild destroys the enemy player's walls, getting your leader back is simple.
Your leader's captors can set an amount of gold as a ransom. If you pay, your leader will return to you from the prison. However, members of a guild may not be able to use this method, as some guilds do not pay a ransom.
Other guilds have no position on ransom payments. Be sure to check with your guild before paying the ransom. They are more likely to agree to start a rally than let you pay the ransom. Why not collect your Leader for free instead of paying large sums of money?

Paying a ransom for the leader can cost you dearly. Your guild could also be affected when other kingdoms notice what happened. That's why if you can avoid paying the ransom, you should use another method.
If you place a bounty on your leader's captor, other players are incentivized to help free your leader. Bounties cannot be refunded once claimed, but if the player fails, you don't reward them either. Either way, you need to be able to afford the Bounty in the first place.

Alternatives to Using a Devil's Cap
All hope is not lost if you don't want to wait for execution. Here are some ways to save your devil caps while getting your boss back.
Huey Hops
There is an alternative to using Devil Caps to pick up your leader as a familiar. This pet is Huey Hops, and guilds can summon it during Guild Bash events. Once you have maxed out Huey Hops, you can help your leader escape from prison.

The downside is that Huey Hops can only help leaders escape when you activate the Rascally Rabbit skill. This skill lasts 30 minutes and your leader can only escape once.
Activating the skill also requires Skillstones, which take a lot of resources and time to create. Additionally, your guild must max out the Huey Hops unlock for Rascally Rabbit. This process can take even more time and resources.
Even so, if your guild manages to complete the long task of maxing out Huey Hops, member leaders will have an easier time keeping their leaders safe. It's not a foolproof method, but it will keep your leader safe for the 30 minutes he's active.
Shelter and shielding
Covers and shields can prevent your leader from being captured. All troops inside shelters are protected from attacks. Shields also protect your leader, but not against pet attacks.

When activated, either item protects your leader and they cannot be captured. Preventing captures in the first place will help you save a lot of time and money. You can also stay quiet while playing.
Use Awakening Fruit
After a leader has been executed or eaten a devil's cap, you must raise them from the dead. This is where the fruits of rebirth come in. They cost 1 gems or 000 guild coins, and you can also get them from events.

We recommend stocking up on Revival Fruits so you can get your leaders back into battle sooner.
Players who need more devil caps
Average players only need 1 Devil Cap to kill their leader, but the 20st in the Kingdom will require 50. Players XNUMX ans and above will need to use more Devil Caps, starting of two of them.

If you are not so powerful, you can rejoice when you manage to score a single devil cap, because you will be able to release your leader much faster. For the higher ranked ones, you will need to stock up if you plan to use them to free your leader.
