How to join the world of friends in Genshin Impact?

How to unlock multiplayer and cooperative game modes?
To unlock multiplayer and co-op, you must play alone until you reach Adventure Rank 16. There are several ways to reach Adventure Rank 16, namely:

Previous rumors also cite "microtransaction implementations" and a host of other issues as the reasons why Genshin Impact for Switch is continuously delayed. Some even think that if a "Switch Pro" ever comes out, Genshin Impact will only be available on that console instead.

Multiplayer not working?
There are several possible reasons why you can't join a friend's world or they can't join yours. These are all fixable, but there is no guarantee that we can list all problems. Here are the most common ones you might encounter:
- A player is not at adventure rank 16.
If a player is not at Adventure Rank 16, you cannot play with them at all. There are no exceptions to this rule, so one of you has to start ranking up. Until both of you are at Adventure Rank 16, multiplayer is not possible.
Sometimes poor internet connections can prevent players from playing in co-op mode. A host must have a strong connection to enable smooth gameplay. If you know someone has terrible internet access, chances are the connection won't allow them to host properly.

You can freely change your out-of-combat deployed characters through the party configuration menu. This allows you to adapt to new missions on the fly.
The number of players in your party directly affects enemy numbers and variations via scaling. Be prepared for tougher battles.
