How to remove profile picture from Google search
Imagine you searched for something on Google and found your profile picture in the search results. This may make you uncomfortable, especially if the photo was taken from your account without your consent. Here is what you can do to delete this photo:
- Contact the owner of this site to remove the image by searching the 'contact us' tab or information on the home page or using who is. You can put the link to the site and receive the email address to contact the owner with the latter. If you are getting information for a hosting company, you can also ask the website host to contact the owner.
- Ask Google to remove the image. To do this, go to Google Support and search for âDelete an image from Googleâ. You will receive a form that you must complete.
The second option seems more convenient for most people, but keep in mind that sometimes Google doesn't completely remove the photo. In this case, Google will remove all links and keywords related to your image so that it no longer appears in Google search.
To finish painting the picture
You can now easily remove an inappropriate or outdated image. Remember that you can add a new photo later or immediately change it to a new photo instead of deleting it.
When you delete your photo, Google puts the first initial of your account name with a solid color background as a replacement. If you don't like the color Google chose for you, you can always change it. It will also be visible on Google Meet and Google Classroom.
