You want your students to feel engaged and invested in your teaching methods if you are an educator. One way to do this is to create a quiz on Google Classroom. Quizzes are a great way for students to test their knowledge of various subjects and help them keep track of what they've learned so far. They also point educators to areas that may need more attention.

Creating quizzes is an easy way to quickly assess your students' knowledge of a topic and give them feedback on their progress. Once you've created the quiz, you can share it with the whole class or individual students as needed.

In this article, we will show you how to create a quiz on Google Classroom on different devices.

How to Take a Quiz on a PC in Google Classroom

When you want to quiz, you'll probably want to do it on a PC because of the many benefits it offers.

First, you'll have a big screen where you can assemble all the tools you need. For example, you can open Google Classroom in one window, then write your questions in another window before finally pasting the specific question into the quiz.

If you want, you can even connect additional screens and make more room for the items you need. For example, you can use a video conferencing service to collaborate with other teachers while you take the quiz. Hosting your colleagues on one screen and then using the other for the actual editing can help you declutter your screen and stay organized.

When you run Google Classroom on a PC, you also have the ability to make the most of other tools in the G Suite family, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms.

Here's how to take a Google Classroom quiz on a PC:

Quiz Setup

  1. Log in to your Google Classroom course page.
  2. Click "Classwork" at the top of the course page.
  3. Select the "Create" button at the top of the Classwork page.
  4. Navigate to "Quiz Assignment" from the drop-down menu to display a screen that looks like the standard Google Classroom assignment screen.
  5. Give your quiz a title, then provide additional instructions if desired.
  6. Once you have set all the "ground rules" regarding the quiz, click on the Google Forms tile just below the attachments tab. This should bring up a new page where you can now start asking questions.
